MEET
Welcome to L3 Recruiting and Consulting! My name is Larry Wilkins III, and I’m passionate about helping athletes achieve their dreams of playing college basketball. With over 10 years of coaching experience, I currently run the AAU basketball program at Just Play, where I’ve built a reputation for developing players and helping them navigate the complex world of college recruiting.
As a former collegiate basketball player at the University of Texas at Dallas, my career was unfortunately cut short due to two career-ending concussions. However, my love for the game and my drive to help young athletes succeed only grew stronger. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of helping more than a dozen athletes find their paths to college programs, and I’ve developed strong, trusting relationships with college coaches at all levels.
At L3 Recruiting and Consulting, my guidance centers on the individual athlete. I genuinely care about each player and focus on finding the right school based on their unique wants, needs, and goals—not just the highest level possible. The recruiting process can be overwhelming and confusing, but I’ve spent years studying it and working closely with college coaches to understand what they’re looking for. I also handle NCAA compliance for the athletes in the Just Play program, ensuring that all players meet eligibility requirements to compete at the next level.

I’ve seen firsthand how misinformation and lack of guidance can derail even the most talented players.
